What does it mean to be a certified B Corporation?<\/h1>\n

During the month of March, A Beautiful Green is celebrating B Corp Month \u2013 an entire month dedicated to celebrating businesses who are doing things differently and driving change.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But what is B Corp?<\/h1>\n

Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balance purpose and profit, led by people using business as a force for good.\u00a0The certification framework measures a company\u2019s entire social and environmental performance, evaluating how your company\u2019s operations and business model impact your workers, community, environment, and customers.<\/p>\n

Certified B Corporations believe that it\u2019s possible to have a great business, while also protecting the environment, taking care of your employees, and giving back to society. Today, there are more than 5000 certified B Corps in over 150 industries and 74 countries with one unifying goal \u2013 to redefine success in business.<\/p>\n

How does the B Corp assessment work?<\/h2>\n

The BIA (B Impact Assessment), used by over 50,000 businesses, is a free, online platform that evaluates how your company interacts with your workers, customers, community, and environment. Any company can complete the assessment on its own and submit the assessment to begin the certification process.<\/p>\n

Who is behind B Corp\u2122?<\/h2>\n

B Corp certification is awarded by B Lab \u2013 the non-profit organisation that serves a global movement of people using business as a force for good. B Lab\u2019s vision is of an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economic system for all people and the planet. And we at A Beautiful Green couldn\u2019t agree more!<\/p>\n
