For many\u00a0organisations, becoming a\u00a0Certified B Corporation\u2122\u00a0represents\u00a0a commitment to responsible business, transparency, and long-term impact. But beyond the certification itself, working within a B Corp consultancy<\/a> means helping companies transform their strategy, operations, and culture to create positive environmental and social impact.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

At A Beautiful Green<\/a>, sustainability consulting goes beyond advising companies on frameworks and certifications. 1. Beyond the certification, what does\u00a0<\/span>working<\/span>\u00a0at a B Corp mean to you in practice?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

Edwige:<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For me, working at a B Corp goes beyond the certification itself. It means being part of a company where impact is considered in everyday decisions whether we are supporting clients on their sustainability journey, sharing knowledge through articles and workshops, or engaging with the broader impact community. In practice,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0about constantly asking how our work can contribute to more responsible and resilient businesses.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Elif:<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Working at a B Corp means that employees, nature, society, and clients all have a voice in the decisions a company makes. As an employee in a B Corp consultancy, it also means sharing the values of the B Corp movement, trust, collaboration, collective decision-making, and a strong commitment to creating value beyond profit. It means putting people at the center, developing solutions that work in harmony with nature, and\u00a0taking action\u00a0rather than simply\u00a0maintaining\u00a0the status quo. In many cases, it means being willing to\u00a0lead\u00a0the change rather than waiting for it.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The B Corp journey is not a process with a clear beginning and end; it is a continuous path of improvement. Companies need to keep measuring, tracking, and strengthening their environmental, social, and governance practices over time.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the most rewarding experiences for me was seeing how a company we supported through its B Corp certification continued evolving afterwards. Observing the progress they made in their recertification journey, the initiatives they implemented to improve their impact, and hearing from their employees about the positive changes within the company made me feel\u00a0very proud\u00a0of the work we had contributed to.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. What makes A Beautiful Green different\u00a0<\/span>as<\/span>\u00a0a B Corp consultancy, and how do we ensure sustainability is embedded in our daily operations?<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

One example that stands out was conducting a carbon footprint assessment<\/a> for a company and helping them translate the results into a concrete action plan. Seeing the data turn into practical steps, such as\u00a0identifying\u00a0key emission sources and defining reduction priorities, made the impact very tangible. Even if many sustainability projects take time before their results fully\u00a0materialise,\u00a0contributing to that first step toward climate action felt particularly meaningful.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
